"Stopped into this convenience store last weekend and saw they had a little cafe inside that served Asian food. With the owner's encouragement that "it's all homemade!", I promised myself I'd be back to try.I went tonight with my husband and daughter and we were IMPRESSED. I had beef bulgogi, my husband had the spicy pork dish, and my daughter had rice and chicken. The food was fresh and savoury. All three of us ended up scraping our plates. The store/cafe is brand new and clean as a whistle. The service, as well, was noteworthy.The owners (including Hannah!) were welcoming, attentive and very obliging toward us and paid special attention to our daughter. This is their first business and their efforts are evident.Take-out is available and I believe they are open to 9 p.m. each evening.Great vibe overall and amazing food. We'll be back with friends."

"I stopped in for lunch and was very pleased with my meal. The quality and portion of food for this price point is great! I ordered the chicken karaage, gyoza, and the spicy ramen and it was actually spicy!! Loved it all. The staff are so friendly and helpful I felt very welcomed here."

"I must say that this place makes the best sushi ever! I've ate at many sushi restaurants as I am a huge sushi fan and this restaurant definitely beats them all. I've been to a fancy sushi restaurant where the prices were to the roof but it was good, not excellent. On the other hand, this place offers you great food and good portions. They are not cheap on the meat (less rice, which is good). We ordered it for take-out and I was surprised! I was expecting just another sushi place with the same quality, same portion, but it was the opposite. I will definitely return and would recommend this restaurant to anyone who wanna enjoy good sushis."

"Great sushi and Japanese restaurant!!! Parks has exceeded my expectations each time I’ve eaten here. The service is phenomenal, the sushi is authentic, delicious and high quality, and the noodle dishes are absolutely fantastic. They have great lunch specials, a solid selection of fancier rolls that are really excellent with well balanced flavours and good attention to detail, and did I mention the noodles??? The noodles are AMAZING. Another huge selling point: reliably gluten free meals, including affordable gluten free daily specials! Each menu item is marked as having gluten or not, they have gluten free soy sauce, and gluten free options for the noodle dishes (which it bears repeating are excellent). The tea is also really good. Really highly recommend this place. I lived in Vancouver for 5 years and ate more than my share if sushi. Parks holds its own as a solid, reliable sushi restaurant."
